Boring

Today was boring. We had to wait for a truck to come to our house to pick up lugguge. We waited for a long time. It was so boring. Finally when the truck came to pick up our lugguge. Then we went to a cake store again. I got a strawberry and rasberry chesse cake. Then we went home to eat our cake. And was it good.

Fox Shrine

Today I went to the shrine. I passed many shops but I urged myself to pass them. This shrine was a Fox Shrine.The fox spirit was the messengers to to the spirts. I finally got to the temple and did my prayers and then it happen, a one life time experience. Nine Monk's came and started chanting. I watched them for a while then left. I got a fortune teller and it said, ''I had a good year.'' Then my sister and I got to feed the koi fish. They were swarming around the food. After the fish took all my food, my sister and my mom and I went to the shrine. The one I told about early. After all that I went to the shops. I bought my friends a gift and bought myself a dragon. Well two dragons. I got home and took a bath. A nice warm bath.

Hot Spring, Two

Aaahhh I just woke up. My sister, my mom, and I are going to the hot spring before we go to breakfast. Hi. I just got back from breakfast. It was yummy. I had rice with salmon in it and miso soup. I also had other foods, but I forgot what they are. We went for walks and went home. Then we went to the shrine.

Hot Spring

Today I am going to a hotel for a special treat. It is a new hotel built as an old style hotel. It was a nice hotel but the beds, chairs, and tables are different. they have lots of hot springs. The beds and tables are on the floor and the chairs are pillows on the floor. You have to put your knees on a mat and sit on the pillow.

After I went to the room for a little while, I went to the hot spring. It was very nice. First, I went to a changing room. It was a little hard taking clothes off without showing my body because there was two people in there. Then after I took my clothes off I went to the hot spring. Each hot spring has a unique personality. One famous hot spring smelles like really bad rotten eggs. But if you have an organ problem and you go into the spring every day, it would cure your problem. This one was slimy, well kind of. I had to spray myself down before I can go into the hot spring.

My cousin Kanako, met us at the hot spring. She was not spending the night because her plane was tomorrow. In a little while we got out. We dried off and we got into our robes. Then we went down for dinner. Wow, look at this food. Wait you cant see the food! I got to cook the meat on a little stove. My sister and I had about five diffrent meals. The adults had about ten different dishes. After dinner I had to say godbye to Kanako. Nnoo!! But she is coming to vermont for a bit this year. Yes. After we said goodbye to Kanako we went back to our room. I am so tried. Good night.

Hair Cut Day

Today I got a haircut. I got to pick out what I wanted. I choose a short haircut with a curl on my check. I also had to thin my hair down because my hair is so thick. When I was done, there was enough hair to cover a small dog.

This is my sister and she put her up in ponytails to show my Mom that she does not look good in ponytails. But she got a good haircut. My haircut was longer then my sister's. I look like Willy Wonka from the new version of the movie.

Lets Go Shopping

Today I am going to two malls today. The first one is huge! There are so many restrants and shops. I went to a shop called Mr. Donut. I had gotten two donuts and a juice. We also got a food called octupuse balls. They are dough balls and pieces of octupus in them. We went to many stores. One store was called Stone store. I got a crystal with a dragon engraved on it. We also got a real amathest with a dragon curled on it for my sister. We also went to a store where I bought a Tony Tony Chopper Man shirt. I also got a sticker for my phone, that you can stick on the back. There was a band at the mall and my mom told me it was a band trying to become famous. We went to a store that was a bit weird, but my mom bought a few things. After a little bit we went to the next mall. The next mall is smaller. We looked around and bought a few things.

Arcade Time

Today I am going to the arcade. Yeah. We got 35 coins and we shared them. Their were so many diffrent games. It was hard to win a game intill I found my game. Every time you put a coin in and you shoot a preson and you would get coins. I was really good at at hitting the person. I kept winning intill I had to go home. I had nine coins left. But I wanted to use two more tockens. I lost those two tockens.

Yum Yum

Next day I woke up at six. I ate breakfast and then waited until 11. At 11, we went to a cake store called Karin. They make the best cake in the world! After, we went home and I ate fried noddles for lunch. Compared to America, they are thin, not fat.

After lunch, I had to wait two hours before I could eat cake. It was sssooo good. I had a white chocolote mousse cake with a strawberry and a raspberry glaze on the cake. Yum yum.



My sister had a vanilla pudding layer cake with a chocolate glaze and Chinese berries on top.

After we ate cake, we started walking to the 7/11 store. I got pokemon cards, and my sister got grape charmel candy. We then walked a half-mile to home.

Japanese Shanai Sword

I went to my mom uncle and cousin's house. Well, they are my second cousin and great uncle's house. My cousin is a sword champion. She has so many prizes and trophies. All of them are first place. After that, we went home. Do you like pasterys? Well I do. Yum! We walked about a mile to a . It is very close to my house. We got a pizza, bread with corn, mayonnaise on top, cheese and ham sandwich, and a pig in the blanket. When I came home, me and my sister ate the pig in the blanket. And we ate the pizza. We gave the food a ten! We had a long day and we are ssoo tired zzzzzzzz.

Buddhist Temples

Today I went to see my great great great grandma and my great great great grandpas grave. Then we went to the temple and pray. Their was a gaint Budha Then I went to my great great grandpa and my great great grandma's grave gave our prays. Then we went to the temple with another Budha. We went to two different temples.

Japan at last

I finnally got home and I am tired. From Narita airport to home was a two hour drive. I am so tired.

ZZZZZZZZZZZ. WHAT! Sorry I am so tired. The car ride was boring. I can finnally get some sleep. ZZZZZZ.

Hello Japan

I just arrived at the Tokyo, Japan airport, but we are going to miss our flight. YYEESS, we have a one hour and 30 minuet delay. Also, they changed the air plane. We are going to Narita airport. I am so happy. We live about two hours from the airport. Tokyo's airport is very beautiful. Japan's flower is the cherry blossum. I saw them last year. They only live one week a year. I see cherry blossoms everywhere.

WOW Chicago

Chicago air port is Huge. Their is two concours. Their was a replica of a long neck. One went underground and their was a tunnel. It light up on the sides and top. On the sides their where just lite up, but the top was swirling lights it would light up then shut off then on. The white light at the end looked liked lighting. Time to leave bye.

I am on my way to Chicago

I'm on the plane to chicago. Wow! What a view! From my tiny air plane window. Is it cloudy down there? Well, in the air plane it is pure blue sky. Near the clouds the color is light blue, then getting higher it gets dark blue. When I left I cried because I was going to miss my dad A LOT. From tiny air plane window, I see Canada and one of the great lakes. Shhh my mom is sleeping. My plane is very small. But we got a great seat. Aahh we have landed.

One Day Left

I have one day left before I go to Japan. I am going to my favorite after school program,Girl Scouts. We do so many fun things.

This is my Girl Scout troop. We do a lot of fun things together. We make arts and crafts and other things. But yeah, the girls make me laugh. I am so happy I had Girl Scouts one day before my journey begins.

I am fortunate enough to be going to Japan on April 12th to May 1st. This blog will serve as my journal of my happenings for my teacher, friends, and relatives. I can't wait to leave and visit my relatives in Japan!
